Commonwealth Youth Games Visit

The bosses of the Commonwealth Games Federation have started a two-day visit to the Isle of Man.

President Michael Fennell and Chief Executive Officer Mike Hooper are in the party checking on progress ahead of the Island hosting the Youth Games in 2011.

The Isle of Man will be the first small nation in the Commonwealth to host such an event.

A thousand athletes from the 72 nations belonging to the organisation are expected to compete in seven sports.
