Hauliers, unhappy at missing out on contracts for work at Isle of Man Airport, have been told more of them should have been used.
Only a handful of local firms gained any work on the multi-million pound project to create the new safety area and taxi-ways at Ronaldsway, with most of it going off-Island.
A convoy of hauliers demonstrated their anger in a go-slow convoy on roads in the south of the Island earlier this month.
The Island Road Transport Association voiced its concerns at a meeting with Transport Minister David Anderson and senior officials this week.
