A Castletown firefighter says he's surprised the Manx Government would consider introducing wheel-clamping, after clampers targeted his car while he was delivering aid to Romania.
Jeff Howland drove a truck of medical supplies and children's clothes to the country, but while he was away his vehicle was clamped while it was parked in a private parking area.
His wife had to pay ?75 to have the vehicle freed, and Jeff says he wasn't impressed last week when a Tynwald committee suggested clampers could operate on the Island's roads.
He's now determined to get his money back and give it to a good cause:
