'No obvious cuts Hospice could make' - CEO

Isle of Man Hospice hopes the generosity of the Manx public will help it maintain services through the expected tough times ahead for the Island.

The charity is part funded by govenrment, but budget cuts could be looming on the horizon after last week's VAT announcement.

Chief executive Margaret Simpson says the vast majority of all cash received in spent on patient care, so there are no obvious efficiency cuts the charity could make.

But she says if people on the Island remain as generous as they have been, there shouldn't be a problem:
