A brief and non-commital statement has been issued by the Department of Health and Social Security, about the death of a woman while in the care of the Drug and Alcohol Team.
The 30-year-old passed away last Wednesday at Grianagh Court in Braddan, in circumstances as yet unexplained.
Police have launched inquries into the death, and the matter has been passed to the coroner's office.
The DHSS has today issued a response, saying the department is assisting the coroner's investigation, and any further comment would be inappropriate.
