The House of Keys reconvened after the summer recess today, with one of the shortage question times on record.
All but one of the items for oral answer had been tabled by Onchan MHK Peter Karran, who is ill and had to withdraw them.
The single remaining question was from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson, who wanted a progress report on the Marine Biological Station site in Port Erin.
It was answered by fellow Rushen member Phil Gawne, who is chairman of a committee looking into its future use.
He said the government was in the process of inviting potential developers of the site to come forward:
