Major road works in St John's

by isleofman.com 26th October 2009

Drive carefully and be aware of diversions around St John’s over the next six weeks.

That's the message from the Department of Transport as work begins to reconstruct the carriageway and footpath on Foxdale Road.

It will be closed to traffic from Patrick Road to the Hope, although it will be possible to access all properties and the football club.

Patrick Road will remain open from Station Road and there will be temporary traffic lights across the Foxdale Road junction.

There will also be work carried out on Barnell Lane to improve surface water drainage.
