Retirements from Police Command Team

Two senior police officers with a total of over 60 years of service are retiring from the Manx force.

Detective Superintendent Carolyn Kinrade and Chief Inspector Peter Young both joined the Isle of Man Constabulary as cadets, in 1974 and 1978 respectively.

Chief Inspector Young has fond memories of working on the beat in various parts of the Island, but says there have been dramatic changes in policing since the last late 1970s:
