Anglers will have increased opportunities for reservoir fishing in the coming months.

Under a scheme which was trialled last year, six reservoirs will be open to winter anglers, namely Clypse and Kerrowdhoo, Sulby, West Baldwin, Ballure and Cringle.

The Water Authority has approved the scheme, and the season will run from November 1 to January 31.

Anglers are reminded regulations allow them a bag limit of two fish per day.
