Climate change drummers out in force!

There was an excellent turnout for the environmental awareness event at Tynwald Hill at lunchtime today.

The Isle of Man One World Centre invited people to go along and 'drum up' support for action on climate change, as part of Global 350 Day.

Those present beat the rhythm on a variety of items, including percussive instuments, pots and pans, as the sun shone down on the pipes and drums.

It's not known at this stage whether the organisers acheived their target of 350 drummers, but Cheryl Cousins from the One World Centre says the fact so many made the effort shows people care:
