Police investigate 'unexplained death'

Police in the Isle of Man are continuing to investigate the death of a patient in premises run by the Department of Health and Social Security.

A 30-year-old woman passed away at Grianagh Court, part of the Noble's Hospital complex, on Wednesday.

A joint statement from the DHSS and the police says she was under the care of the Drug and Alcohol Team.

Police are said to be 'looking into the unexplained death', but no further information can be released at this stage.

The coroner of inquests has been informed.
