Rushen MHK defends Langness enquiry

A Rushen MHK says he doesn't believe the Langness public enquiry has been a waste of public money.

The enquiry into the long-running saga came to an end earlier this week, with Inspector Roy Hickey is expected to make his decision in the next week or two.

The issue revolves around whether there is evidence that the route - which passes around TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson's house - is a permissive right of way with access granted by the right of the land owner, or an established statutory right of way.
