The revamp of a vital facility for the Island's youngsters and their families reaches its conclusion this afternoon.

The new Isle of Man Children's Centre Complex will be officially opened this lunchtime by the charity's patron Mary Cringle, in the presence of Chief Minister Tony Brown.

The centre, on Woodbourne Road in Douglas, provides childcare, play, adventure activities, learning opportunities, residential care and support services.
