A public meeting in Kirk Michael last night (Wednesday) heard the arguments for and against a doctor’s surgery being built in Jurby.
Health Minister Eddie Teare attended the meeting which had been called by Michael MHK David Cannan.
The arguments in the packed church hall revolved around whether the new GP centre should be built in Jurby, as the DHSS plans, or in Kirk Michael which Mr Cannan says needs it more.
During the debate, both Mr Cannan and Mr Teare put their views forward.
