Douglas Council says it’s hopeful a long-term agreement over who’s responsible for the Noble’s Park campsite during motorsports festivals could end weather woes experienced there.
During this year’s Manx Grand Prix, competitors camping there complained after heavy rain turned the site into a mudbath.
Criticism was levelled at the Department of Tourism and Leisure, which runs the site during TT and MGP, and Douglas Council, which owns it.
Council leader David Christian says he hopes both parties can work together to produce improvements.
