Financial Crime Unit chief proud after Baines verdict

After the guilty verdicts brought against Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy today, the man behind the prosecution case said he was proud of the work done.

In a short statement to the media, Detective Chief Inspector John Mitchell, who's Head of the Financial Crime Unit, said tackling money laundering is of the utmost importance to the Isle of Man.

DCI Mitchell said the conviction was the result of an international effort:
