Big fall in Island's unemployment

Unemployment in the Island has dropped sharply over the last month according to figures released by the government.

In September, 80 people signed off the register, one of the largest monthly falls in recent years.

Treasury Minister Allan Bell welcomed the news, saying it’s a sign the Manx economy is still going strong.

And he says it’s part of a concerted effort by government to find work for those who’ve been signing on:
