Four inquests will open at Douglas courthouse this morning (Monday).

The cases will then be adjourned by Coroner Michael Moyle as inquiries continue.

Forty-year-old Mark Andrew Penketh from Douglas died on September 16 after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Ballaquayle Road and Woodbourne Road.

Pamela Egee, 84, from Port St Mary lost her life 12 days ago after an accident on the A26 Braaid to St Marks Road in Marown.

Inquests will also be opened this morning into the deaths of 30 year-old Richard Smids from Castletown, whose body was found at a property in Malew Street last month, and 44 year-old Stuart Sneddon from Douglas whose body was discovered in the backyard of a house in Bucks Road.
