Manx Radio’s ‘Headlines Again’ team will be reunited this evening (Sunday) for a celebration of the life and times of the late Roly Drower.
An evening of Manx poetry, comedy and music is taking place at the Centenary Centre in Peel from 8pm.
Proceeds will go to the Isle of Man Hyperbaric Chamber for which Roly wrote the facility’s original software.
Best known for his satirical website ‘Manxman.com’, Roly and his website came to wider public attention during a protracted series of court-cases.
The event will be hosted by former Manx Radio presenter Roy McMillan.
Additional highlights will include the launch of Roly’s posthumous book “Bramblespit and Other Poems & Stories”, published by the Manx Heritage Foundation, and performances from Manx band, King Chiaullee.
