Cathedral plans to be unveiled this weekend

Plans are under way to create what's being called a 'national cultural venue' in the grounds of Peel Cathedral.

A special 'Cafe regeneration' service will take place this Sunday at 2pm, during which proposals for the transformation of the Corrin Hall and it's surrounding landscape will be outlined.

It's being hosted by the Business Advisory Group which is assisting the cathedral with its plans.

Subdean at St German's the Reverend Canon Nigel Godfrey hopes the development will bring many more people into the cathedral grounds:
