The jury in the Trevor Baines trial has been hearing the summary from the defence.
Yesterday, the prosecution closed its case and asked the seven jurors to consider whether the Isle of Man millionaire knew or suspected he was involved in criminal conduct.
If so, the Crown said, he should be found guilty of money laundering.

Both Mr Baines and his wife Wendy are also charged with false accounting.
The couple, of Africa House, in Woodbourne Road, Douglas, deny all the charges.
