The defence team in the trial of Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy is presenting its closing address today.
Yesterday, the prosecution closed its case and asked the seven-strong jury to consider whether the Isle of Man millionaire knew or suspected he was involved in criminal conduct.
If so, the Crown says he should be found guilty of money laundering.
Mr Baines is accused of laundering $175 million in Isle of Man banks, accrued dishonestly by the directors of an American software firm.
Both Mr and Mrs Baines, of Africa House in Woodbourne Road in Douglas, are also charged with false accounting.
