Theft from changing rooms

by isleofman.com 5th October 2009

Audacious thieves targeted Douglas Rugby Club on Saturday afternoon while a match was being played.

Three wallets and a mobile phone were taken from one of the changing rooms at Port-e-Chee, where Douglas were hosting Crewe & Nantwich in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

The thefts occurred sometime between 1.30 and 4pm and one of the wallets contained a small coin of high sentimental value to its owner.

Police are asking anyone with information, particularly in relation to suspicious behaviour, to contact them on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
