Help for children with dyslexia

Parents in the Isle of Man are being offered expert advice on helping dyslexic children with school work.

A presentation is being given this evening (Monday) by a leading authority from the United Kingdom, on youngsters with the learning disorder.

Judy Capener has been invited to give the keynote speech at the Manx Dyslexia Association's annual conference tomorrow.

Tonight she will give a lecture to parents entitled 'Speaking of Spelling!' which offers simple strategies to help children who have difficulties getting their letters in the correct order.

Tonight's presentation is at the Keyll Darree education centre at Noble's Hospital, from 7.30pm.
