A member of the House of Keys has issued a stark warning about the impact a more centralised European Union could have on the Isle of Man.
On Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion, Rushen MHK Quintin Gill was highly critical of the Lisbon Treaty, which Ireland has just backed in a second referendum after rejecting it the first time around.
The Isle of Man isn't in the EU, but Mr Gill says that doesn't mean it can't be heavily influenced by it.
He describes the EU as an undemocratic, unaccounatable organisation which hasn't signed off its accounts for 14 years:
