Douglas climb the table

by isleofman.com 3rd October 2009

Vagas’ near neighbours Douglas continued their good start to the season with a 25-16 home win over Crewe & Nantwich and moved into joint third place in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

Douglas led 17-5 at half-time thanks to skipper Bryn Snellgrove who bagged all 17 points courtesy of two tries, two conversions and a penalty.

Carl Markle-Fearns picked up a second half try as Douglas pushed ahead and a late penalty from Snellgrove brought his personal tally to 20.
