England take individual pool honours at the Villa

Six days of top-class pool came to a thrilling conclusion at the Villa Marina yesterday.

The European Pool Championships, held here for the first time in four years, have proved popular with both competitors and spectators alike, with hundreds attending.

Last night's presentation saw trophies given out for individuals, teams and special needs competitors.

The big prizes, the men's and ladies' trophies, were were won by English players, Andy Lucas and Laura Llewellyn respectively:
