The Isle of Man’s everyday heroes have been recognised at a gala ceremony at the Empress Hotel in Douglas.
The inaugural Heroes in the Community Awards – organised by the Manx Radio Dreamcatcher Appeal – celebrated an array of individuals who work for the good of others across the Island.
Twelve awards were presented in four categories ranging from Child of Courage to Carer of the Year.
Marion Cowley was named Grandparent of the Year, nominated by her daughter Michelle.
