Everyday heroes who do extraordinary things were honoured at a gala ceremony at the Empress Hotel in Douglas last night (Friday).
The Manx Radio Dreamcatcher Appeal inaugural Heroes in the Community Awards acknowledged those who work for the good of others across the Isle of Man.
Twelve awards were presented in four categories ranging from Child of Courage to Carer of the Year.
The bravest youngster of the year was won by 11 year-old Reece Moffiit who has muscular dystrophy.
