by isleofman.com 2nd October 2009

A fishing boat berthed at the King Edward Pier in Douglas began sinking this morning, after its hold filled with water.

A fire crew used a pump to empty the water before refloating the vessel, which was sitting low in the water.

The officers were on the scene for 90 minutes from about 8.15am.
