Dyslexia conference at Keyll Darree

Teachers who specialise in helping children with dyslexia are being urged to get their applications in for a special event in the Isle of Man next week.

A keynote speaker from the United Kingdom has been invited to address the Manx Dyslexia Association's annual conference on Monday.

Judy Capener will will outline her latest research and learning materials, designed to help teach spelling to dyslexic pupils.

The one-day conference at Keyll Darree is aimed at education professionals, and the deadline for applications is Friday.

Chair of the Manx Dyslexia Association Mike Wilson says it's an event not to be missed (play audio file):
