An Onchan MHK is repeating his call for tighter controls on alcohol sales to be introduced in supermarkets in the Isle of Man.
Peter Karran's comments follow claims in the United Kingdom that high food prices in stores there are effectively subsidising cheap booze sales.
Mr Karran has been suggesting alcohol should be moved away from other goods into its own area for some years, and believes it would bring its own benefits:
