MWT moving to new home

by isleofman.com 28th September 2009

The Manx Wildlife Trust is to move to new headquarters in Peel.

The charity has been based for many years at Tynwald Mills in St John's, where it has also run a wildlife shop.

But it's now in the process of buying a former bookshop on the corner of Market Place in the centre of the western town.

Director Duncan Bridges says St John's has been a good base, but the MWT needs more space for its staff and it's an opportunity for it to own its own premises (play audio file):

The Manx Wildlife Trust hopes to have moved to Peel by next spring.
