Kneen second at Silverstone

Dan Kneen grabbed second in the 600cc Super Stock British Championship race at Silverstone yesterday.

He also clocked the fastest lap of the race but just missed out to Luke Jones by half a second.

The young Manxman's now lying fourth in the championship with one more round to go, at Oulton Park on October 9th - 11th.

Of the other Manx riders in action at the weekend Conor Cummins was 13th in the 1000cc Superstock with Gavin Hunt just behind him in 14th.

Mark Cringle failed to finish in the Supersport.
