Annual concert at the Gaiety this evening

Manx Concert Brass and the Manx National Youth Band are tuning up for the Island's own 'Last Night of The Proms'.

The annual event is reverting to the atmospheric Gaiety Theatre, with guest host the renowned local singer Allan Wilcocks, who stood in following a diary clash for Geoff Corkish.

Manx Concert Brass is building a fine reputation on the international stage, but members are looking forward to playing some old favourites tonight (Saturday).

Band President Sir Laurence New told Stuart Peters you don't need to be a classical music fan to enjoy concerts like this one:
