Fire service to burn down houses!

by isleofman.com 25th September 2009

Two properties in Douglas will be deliberately set alight next month.

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service will stage a live fire demonstration on October 8.

Both properties will be fitted with sprinkler systems but only one will be switched on.

It's hoped the demonstration will highlight the benefit of the systems and the difference between fires in protected and unprotected buildings.
