GBH case sent to higher court

A 23-year-old woman charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent has been committed to the Court of General Gaol by the High Bailiff, Michael Moyle.

Carly Shimmin, of Church Road in Onchan, is alleged to have committed the offence against Amanda Dawson on July 13.

The defendant was bailed until her appearance at General Gaol and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
