Temporary move for NSC Walk and Talk sessions

by isleofman.com 23rd September 2009

The NSC's Walk and Talk sessions will move to Noble's Park from Monday ,September 28th for a short period while essential work takes place on the athletics track and raceway.

The relaying of the track is well under way and from early October work will commence on the relaying of the perimeter raceway.

The move will affect the Monday evening and Tuesday and Friday day time sessions.

Similar to the NSC, a half-mile route around the park will be used and the walkers will be able to enjoy their tea and coffee in the cafe there.

This is only a short-term arrangement and walkers can look forward to returning to the NSC when the work has been completed.

Session times will not change during the move: Monday evenings 5.30pm – 7.00pm, Tuesday and Friday sessions 9.30am – 11.00am.

The registration point will be Noble's Park Cafe, next to the crown green bowls area.

For further information regarding the move, or about Walk and Talk in general, please contact Gianni Epifani, Sport Development Officer, on 688556.
