Langness inquiry to continue next month

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2009

The Langness footpath inquiry will resume in three weeks' time.

It was adjourned last month to allow further witnesses to appear and will reconvene on October 12 at the Mount Murray Hotel.

The paths became the focus of a bitter dispute between ramblers and the BBC Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, after he diverted a section of one of them around his house, to protect his privacy.

Any further evidence should be delivered by October 2 to Chris Hannon at the Highways Division of the Department of Transport ,either by emailing him at chris.hannon@gov.im or by post.
