MHK excited by leisure facility plans

Plans have been unveiled to turn a landmark building in the south of the Island into a huge new leisure facility for residents.

The proposals include a bowling alley and children's play area, and a cinema could also be included at the former Ronaldsway Shoe Company headquarters.

Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen has had meetings with an Irish developer who is looking to expand into the Isle of Man.

Mr Cregeen says it's an exciting prospect:
