Poppy Appeal record in sight

It's been a bumper year for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and looks set to be the best ever for the Isle of Man.

The ex-service members' charity is well supported locally and the Island often tops the table of donations per person.

However, this year's appeal should break all previous records if people continue to give generously.

Major Charles Wilson says the charity has done especially well this year because its volunteers have had a bit longer to collect donations:
