A Lee Cain corner kick was flicked on to the far post by Paul Bratty and Black drilled in a low shot in the 73rd minute.

It was an identical scoreline at Noble’s Park where Chris Anderson ensured Douglas Royal beat Colby, a result which could prove important could the end of the season.

Foxdale and Braddan shared four goals at Billy Goat Park.

Gavin McLaughlin and Willie Woods were on target for the home side with Jamie Johnson and player-manager Paul Ramsden replying for Braddan.

Pulrose had too much firepower for Douglas and District.

Doubles from Richard Sharman and Aaron Raby and one apiece from Paul Kearney, Barry English and Aaron Store secured a 7-0 victory.

Ramsey Youth Centre were also comfortable winners over the Police.

The 4-0 home success came courtesy of an Aidan Cummins brace and one each from Sam Knight and Steven Oates.

The southern derby went the way of Malew at Ronaldsway.
