The generosity of a Manx engineer has allowed the Peel Centenary Centre to expand its facilities with a new bar and entrance.
The gift was written into the will of Cyril Cannell, inventor of the Peel Bubble car, who died in November last year.
Work on the extension started in March and the official opening is on Sunday.
One of the Centenary Centre's directors Ernie Leece paid this tribute to Mr Cannell:

Researching your Manx family history can be a very interesting and rewarding hobby. Trace your roots in the Isle of Man with our helpful of guide.
