Police still haven't named the 40-year-old Douglas man who was killed in a road accident in the town yesterday.
At about 9.10pm the motorcyclist, who was riding a blue Suzuki GSXR 750, was involved in a head-on collision with a green Jeep Grand Cherokee, in Ballaquayle Road.
Acting detective inspector Terry Stephen of the Roads Policing Unit is urgently appealing for more witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who saw the accident:
