Barry for Team Sky?

by isleofman.com 17th September 2009

Is another support rider for Mark Cavendish about to join Team Sky.

Team Columbia has announced it's rider line-up for 2010 and Michael Barry is listed as leaving to join the new British based outfit.

Manx rider Peter Kennaugh has already signed for Sky and Jonny Bellis is widely expected to join him from Saxo Bank.

It's already been announced that four current Columbia riders will be in the Sky ranks next season - Greg Henderson, Thomas Lovkvist, Morris Possoni and current Tour of Britain leader Edvald Boasson Hagen.

Good news for Cav is that the Columbia team for 2010 is built around him to win sprints, and still contains the likes of Bernhard Eisel, Tony Martin, Mark Renshaw and Michael Rogers.
