Great Manx Bake-Off later this month

by isleofman.com 16th September 2009

There's a competition later this month for people who fancy they could be the Island's best baker.

As part of the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival, a cake-making competition is to be held, called the Great Manx Bake-Off.

Using local ingredients, residents will have to impress judges the Hairy Bikers to have their recipe crowned the best in the Island.

Organiser Samantha Honey-Pollock says it's all in aid of a very good cause (play audio file):

The Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival is on Saturday, September 26.
