More postal woes expected

by isleofman.com 16th September 2009

Postal services between London and the Isle of Man could be disrupted today.

A one-day strike in the capital is expected to affect deliveries.

However, it's thought there will be more disruption tomorrow, as a result of a separate 24-hour strike today, at locations throughout the United Kingdom distribution network.

It's the latest industrial action by some members of the Communication Workers Union over pay.

Isle of Man Post Office employees are not involved and are forwarding all mail as normal.

The special delivery next day guaranteed service from the Isle of Man should run as planned.
