The head teacher at the school where Lieutenant James Adamson first became interested in the military says he is very proud of his former pupil.
Lieutenant Adamson made British military history by winning a mention in dispatches and the Military Cross in the same tour of duty in Afghanistan.
He attended Ramsey Grammar School, where he played rugby and was heavily involved in the Army Cadet Force.
