DTI to Consult on Electricity Bill

The Department of Trade and Industry has released a consultation document which is intended to precede an amendment to the Electricity Act. 

 

The proposed Bill is necessary in order to clarify certain accounting matters within the Electricity Act 1996 and address certain wayleave matters which concern the Authority’s powers to lay gas transmission pipelines.

 

Submissions are welcomed from anyone who thinks they may be affected by any of the proposals and should be sent by post or email to:
