by isleofman.com 13th September 2009

Former British Champion and Olympian Nick Craig retained his Mountain Biking End to End Challenge title in perfect conditions on Sunday.

He finished in a slightly quicker time too - 2 hours, 47 minutes and 57 seconds.

Second was Neal Crampton from Farlsey and best local was Elliot Baxter in a fine third place.

834 completed the route from the Point of Ayre to Cregneash out of an entry of over a thousand.

Nick Craig's superb time came despite getting lost at one point towards the finish:-
